Long Longmont Loop 
Memorial Day Ride - any rider, casual.

Start:  Brewing Market, SE side, 1520 Hover Rd., Longmont, CO
Goal:  Ride the perimeter of Longmont as a way to explore the city on bikes.  No drop, gentle pace ride suitable for hybird or road bikes.  Range from 75th St. on the west, 23rd Ave on the north, Sandstone ranch on the East and Plateau on the South. 
Miles:  20-30 miles depending on group's preference.

Goal:  Carter LakeRide will follow a direct path to Carter Lake but only go to the South End and then return by the same route to Hygiene for a food stop. Please note that we will do about 33 miles before the official food stop.
The route will be North on 63rd to Niwot Rd, 73/75th to Woodland, north on 83rd, left on County Rd 23, left on county rd 8E to the south end of Carter Lake.
This ride will be a slower than the full Tiger ride and regroup locations will be identified.

Return via the 7 hills, around the lake by Yellowstone Rd., past McIntosh Lake to Airport Rd. to Clover Basin to 75th and usual route to/past Tom Watson, 63rd to Lookout, then wind around to west and south to Boulder Airport Rd., to 47th St. and back to Pearl East.

From 9am to Noon this Saturday the 31st, we’ll have expert Mason Pierce, the Lead Technical Sales from event sponsor Boulder Cycle Sport who will reveal to all comers the tips and techniques of the pros, from emergency tire repair to tuning your derailer.

Concessions at The Dairy will be open that day for coffee, beer and snacks, and in-kind sponsor Naked Pizza will be delivering free pizza later that morning!

All this takes place inside The Dairy’s lobby and main gallery space, surrounded by more than 200 pieces of original bike-inspired art, the biggest installation of its kind. The exhibit ends Monday, 4/2, so this is the last weekend the public has to experience the art up close.
